My blood work seems to be ALL good news, if I read the results correctly....time will tell.

Very good news!

As for groceries, in the Northwest, all of our major grocery chains (Safeway, Albertsons, Fred Meyer, etc.) offer grocery delivery.  And if we have it in Washington state, I am sure you have it in L.A.  The prices are the same as in the store, and usually the first delivery is free.

I checked into Von's delivery once. It was $13 for delivery. I find that rather steep. Is that what you must pay in Washington, TCB?

I looked up our local Fred Meyer and it says "A $5.95 delivery fee and a $6.00 service charge will be applied to your order at the time it’s placed.".

Thursday morning greetings!  I'm getting ready today to leave tomorrow for a long weekend in Michigan with my sister.  Our high school's reunion picnic for the classes of the 1950s and '60s is Sunday and we're going to represent the classes of 1959 and 1968.  Looking forward to seeing a lot of friends, especially the ones from 1969 who will be there for their 50th.  Our husbands both opted out this year...

That sounds like quite a nice trip. Have a good one.

For a fee comparison:

"Curbside pick-up is available at many Fred Meyer stores throughout Oregon and Washington for a fee of $4.95".

I saw my osteopath today. He must not have had another patient right after me because he spent a lot of time with me. I usually feel rushed, as the twenty minutes they allow just isn't enough for us old folks. We had a lot to discuss. He also sprayed the skin spots that didn't disappear the last time he sprayed them. Ugh.

If they return more than 3 times I suggest getting them biopsied.

They didn't return; they never left in the first place. He said it can take two or three times.

I went to Whole Foods Market afterwards, which is in the same complex. I wanted a sandwich, but the line was too long, so I just bought things off the salad bar and hot foods bar. I bought some of their potato salad, which looked really good, but proved to be the blandest potato salad I've ever had! Their food is usually quite tasty.

I am a big believer in asking for a taste before purchasing. Those salads often look better than they taste.

The store was quite crowded and I was in a hurry to leave. Not the nicest way to shop!

The Mercury retrograde is over, so maybe things will go a bit more smoothly. Let's hope so!

Oh, what are they then?  Something raised or flat?

I often see a delivery truck from Zupan Market & finally looked it up.  I could not find the cost of delivery.  They are nice gourmet/catering markets all located in the Portland area.

So, early this afternoon I plugged my 2 year old iPhone into my newish computer in order to get some music from my iTunes library to listen to via Bluetooth in my brand new car.  I inadvertently “updated” my phone to 2012.  It was a mess, but 6 hours and a trip to the Apple Store later it’s as back to normal as it’s going to get.  And Richard and I managed to sync my phone with my car without having to visit the dealership.  Oh, and I did manage to transfer the music...

Had a really fun second rehearsal.  I'm starving, but I just couldn't walk for a mile to get something to eat, and then sit for an hour eating it.  So, I looked up this little pizza jernt that looked good and they do postmates, so I ordered two slices of pepperoni pizza and they'll be here in about twenty minutes.  That's only six hundred calories, but I do have some pistachios here, so I'll eat a few of those and/or make three ounces of pasta with butter.

I had to look up Postmates.  That's great you could order only 2 pieces of pizza.

Poor little Timbo was indeed murdered this afternoon with another dog.  Thoroughly adoptable, he was passed over as the ACC reprieved six dogs and gave them two more days to find rescue or die.  I am heartbroken.  I would have adopted him to save him, but I cannot afford the adoption fees at the moment.  Fostering him would have cost me nothing.

This makes me angry and very sad.  I've always felt that the people who kill these innocent animals are sick bastards.

Gearing up for the small Indiegogo campaign we have to do for the Creature DVD - just want to do it right - the money goes to all the authoring and getting it to look as good as it possibly can.  These things are never cheap, and I have to, of course, pay for the art, pressing, and printing.  So, it's the production side that I need to raise the dough for.

Listening to the remastered Follies at a fairly full volume. Stunning sound.

Not much happened tonight. Dance lessons. The folks seemed to pick up on waltz tonight more than Joy's other classes. I think because these folks have been dancing other dances for a while.
