Playbill has announced that Bernadette Peters Lands TV Pilot!

Variety reports that Peters will be part of the cast of "Adopted," a new sitcom for the ABC Network produced by Twentieth Century Fox TV. The program, according to the industry paper, "revolves around a grown man who discovers he has two very different mothers." Peters will play one of the mothers, Mrs. Leaf.

I love Bernadette and am very muchly looking forward to this!

Meantime, Fletcher and Peggy have also decided to play. Bonnie is jealous; Fletcher is supposed to be her boyfriend!

Actually, I think Scott is one of the better voices in the men's group.

I think Constantine is the weakest. He's the John Stevens of this year's final 12. I think the jury is still out on Anwar and Mario. Of course, I cannot predict what part hormones play in the voting...

Ruben was proof one need not be svelte or sexy to win the competition. Of course, Ruben can't give away his American Idol champion CDs and Clay can't book all the appearances he's wanted for. Perhaps if Clay had "looked" like Constantine, he'd have won hands down.

By my saying that I foresee a B0-Mario shootout at the end, I'm not saying they're my favorites, just my predictions. Anthony is BY FAR my favorite pure singer of the competition.

I'm hoping that Mikalah goes next week, but I, too, think Scott will be among the early evictees. Again, I think he has a wonderful voice (no stage presence, however). I think Lindsay will also be among the earliest evictees. Next week is going to be SO interesting. Should be an excellent show.

I'll tell you what I think about the conclusion of "Wickedly Perfect" -- I think Mitch was ROBBED.

And I blame wuss supreme Bobby Flay who NEVER took to Mitch, mainly, I think, because Mitch could equal Bobby in most respects, and surpass him in others.

Here was Bobby who preferred Mitch's food, and preferred Mitch's magazine cover. He hated the other food and magazine cover.

So what the hell was he voting against Mitch for? His color scheme?

The final result was a scandal, and she will NEVER be successful the way Mitch will be without the damned title.

Last night, while watching a channel I don't usually watch, I happened to catch a music video by Gwen Stefani, formerly of the music group No Doubt. For those of you who have no idea who I'm talking about, she's a recent pop singer...more alternative than pop, but you get the idea. At any rate, she was debuting her new song, entitled Rich Girl...better known to us around here as If I Were A Rich Man, from Fiddler On The Roof. She has modernized the song, turned it into a hiphop/rock thing with a lot of new words, but same chorus and tune...it frightened me.
