And I just finished reading The Lincoln Highway.

And?

I didn't love it like I did A Gentleman in Moscow.  I did like it, and better than Rules of Civility.

I kept thinking about “Oh, Brother, Where Art Thou.”  And, I agree with you about wanting to talk about it with a group.

The movie?  I am not familiar with the book.

I would agree somewhat. Both were picaresque road tales.

Popular songs written in the year of my birth (aside from the songs listed in the shows from the year of my birth): Autumn Leaves, But Beautiful, Buttons and Bows, For Every Man There's a Woman, Haunted Heart, Here I'll Stay, I Wish I Didn't Love You So, It Only Happens When I Dance With You, It Was Written in the Stars, It's Magic, It's a Most Unusual Day, Nature Boy, Slow Boat to China, Papa Won't You Dance With Me, Sixteen Tons, Steppin' Out With My Baby, and many others.

Feel free to do these for your own birth year.

Buttons and Bows is listed as a top song in my year, with four different artists.

Yes, the movie - one of our favorites.

You are very close DR JOHN G.  My friend Mike a theatre professor from Illinois found the answer on Wikipedia...

Maybe he’s just a blond dude named Perry.

Good chance.      ;D

The playlist I am looking at includes a video of Peggy Lee singing MANANA.  I always loved watching her.

Wow - I know I have heard the name Pericles - but looking at the Wikipedia page - his life was remarkable.

Slow Boat to China is another one that is also on the list for my year.  I guess it was on the hit list for a long time.

DR George, I wonder how your sister decides which Hallmark Christmas movies she wants to save. Since, from what I've seen, they're all THE SAME MOVIE.
