I agree! Here is my story.

I caught a bus in Amarillo. It was going to San Antone. I had a brand new cardboard suitcase and a window seat alone. Oh I thought that I was something and dreamed I's travel far. Maybe be a radio DJ or be a movie star. The bus from Amirillo raced a train along the track, but I never looked behind me. Cause I wasn't coming back. I had a one way ticket to nowhere. I was finally traveling free.

And that's why you'll always be a cheap whore with a hard candy Christmas! ;D

I believe you may be right, DR Ron. I can feel tightness in certain leg and shoulder muscles from today's lifting. And at my age, sore muscles don't heal in a day or two.

I'm awake, but not for long. My exhaustion from this afternoon is now catching up to me in a major way now. A few more minutes and I'll head back down to bed.

After CSI went off, I thought I might watch part of a DVD for an hour or so, but I couldn't last ten minutes before I turned it all off and jumped on the internet for my final surf of the day.

Oh, my! I'm the only one here, but I cannot stay. My eyes are closing as I'm typing. I'll try again tomorrow.

We've been a-rescuing again today.

Lilah is a lovely black Lab/retriever mix, who was found as a stray and impounded by the SPCA.  Because of a few pics that der B took a week ago, another rescue group to the north of us asked if they could have her as part of a pet fair to be held Saturday.  They've also found a foster home for her.  Today, der B and I drove her up to our regular hand-over point in Smyrna.  I'm glad to say that she was a total doll during our ride.  At one point she nuzzled my hand, tossing it up onto her head, hinting that she really wanted scritches and pets.  She was so glad to leave the pound, and very glad to be with people who were interested in her wellfare.

On the other hand, earlier we went for a photo session, where the dog did nothing but growl at us.  We left quickly, after just a couple of pictures.  Not every story has to have a happy ending.   :-\

I tried to do Chinese-style food again tonight.  The main course was sweet and sour chicken.  The side was a spin on beef and broccoli, using bacon as the meat instead.  I'll be hungry again by morning, which will roll around early because I'm scheduled for the 7:30 shift.

Good Evening!

Greetings from Richmond!

I drove down after the Damn Yankees auditions... Which went well.  Oh, one of the big dance mirrors in the hall broke... And the A/C was on the fritz for a while too... Ugh!  But a decent turnout, and we were able to call back a good amount of "locals".

In any case...  It's been a long day.  I'll be driving back up to Fairfax in the morning... And then I shall catch up on the posts from today...  I just wanted to check in before turning in...

Vibes to those who need them.

:)

Goodnight.

Went down to Footlight this evening. Got two Homer & Jethro LPs (A Christmas one and "Songs My Mother Never Sang"), and one Kirby Stone Four LP where they do all the songs from "My Fair Lady". 75% off is hard to beat. I got almost $50 of records for $12. That Kirby Stone LP would languish there for eternity at the price they had been asking. Also got one of those bootleg movie soundtracks for the movie PIN-UP GIRL.

Why is CORVETTE SUMMER starring Annie Potts and Mark Hamill playing on TCM? Don't tell me the channel is going the way of "the new AMC".

THey have some kind of "Youth and Autos" theme going tonight.  At 8:00 they played Love Finds Andy Rooney in which our hero is obsessed with buying his first car, then at 10:00 came American Graffitti.  I forget what the 2:00 show is.

I'm still up, I'm still up!

DR Matthew:
Just read your post about Michael Rupert. He is currently directing "Thrill Me" at the York Theater-a musical about Leopold and Loeb. He also took part in a workshop production of "The Man in the White Suit". a new musical by the creators of "Urinetown". I last saw him on stage at the Papermill Playhouse, April 2004, where he performed the role of Alan in their production of "Baby".

My interent provider has not provided for the last few hours. At least it's reassuring when you know the problem is not your computer. (Recorded message at the tech help line).

DP Colin bought a copy of "1900" today, I don't think we will be watching that in one sitting.
