Not that I’m proud of that.

Eggnog French toast for Christmas breakfast was wonderful.

I would expect so.

Sleeping temperatures began their return last night, though it was very early morning before my room was feeling the difference.

I daresay (oh yes, I do) we won't have to run any air conditioners this week. And isn't that lovely.

Lovely.

I loved cottage cheese as a kid. Found it gross for many years. But have returned to it in my dotage. It’s gotta be nice and cold though.

I don’t know what it means to not run the AC.

Well, it's kind of hard to explain, actually.

One thing I have not returned to is adding ketchup to cottage cheese, which my siblings and I did as kids. Yuck.

I love to drink a martini
Maybe two at the most
After three, I'm under the table
After four, I'm under the host

I also had the bright idea of adding fruity Life Savers to cottage cheese. It did not catch on.

And here, AC isn’t even a thing people have.

At least you mostly don't need it.

I thought going through a pregnancy in California was difficult without air, then I went through one in New Jersey without AC.

Cottage cheese seems to be the new IT girl. I've seen a lot of recipes using it lately, in all sorts of contexts.

I used to often eat cottage cheese with fruit but I never cared for it cooked in recipes.

As a kid in Indiana, we had AC, but using it at night was something my parents frowned upon. On nights that didn’t cool down, you’d wake up feeling as if you’d been suffocated with a pillow.

I also liked the containers that had little pieces of pineapple mixed in it.

I have thought of getting a window unit for the inevitable “heat domes” a-comin’.

I would eat cottage cheese and Life Savers again before I’d have a circus peanut. Those were a candy only my dad ate.

On summer nights growing up in suburban Connecticut we had an attic fan. It would pull the cooler night air in from outside through the windows and vent it through the roof. It made existing without A/C tolerable. But only at night.

Okay, I admit it. I had to look up "circus peanuts". Because I do love peanuts. Well, it's a bloody good thing I did.

YUCK!   :)

I always hear about how A/C in the Pacific Northwest is not a very common thing in people's homes.

And then I hear about the 90s and 100s and worse air quality than other areas, etc. etc. .....  so, um ..... ?  :)
