Then, I watched last night's CSI. It was a melancholy episode concerning a brother and sister who were striken with the gene that makes the hair grow uncontrollably. Very sad, muted episode.

Rodzinski and I watched Dancing with the Stars.  I agree with your comments. Especially Master P- what was with the sneakers??

I also think Lisa Rinna has a lot of potential. But the one I was most impressed with was the woman wrestler. I'd never heard of her before.

Gisele and Drew Lachey were also good.

I voted for the woman wrestler.

Who knew Master P was little romeo's father?  I think they cut him a lot of slack because he only had one week. It just didn't seem like he tried that hard. Although he kept saying how he was doing it for the katrina victims.

I can't believe they gave him 4s and that sportscaster guy 5s. That guy was robotic, but he tried so hard. And i really thought that it must have taken a lot for him to do that.  ANd he was good. I think he will learn a lot.

Not sure who will go. Part of it is popularity. But you'll remember Kelly Monaco (last year's winner) got slammed by the judges early on.  So it's really about the potential.  Slim and flexible women like lisa rinna, gisele and stacey (is that the wrestler's name) should do really well.

Perhaps it was a melan collie episode?

Melon Caulie.  This GE technology has gone way too far. What next, Banana flavoured carrots?

Just to let you know the apology was accepted DR Rodzinski.

I've just learnt that French actor/singer Lambert Wilson (Remember; DR Jose is President of his US fanclub! - He's gonna "hate" me for that!) has tried for years to produce a French version of SUNDAY IN THE PARK but finally gave up.... because Mr Sondheim asks for prohibitive amounts of money!

(Money, Money, Money... Monet? No! It is Seurat! :D)

It's possible, too, that Mr Sondheim may not be fond of his off-pitch singing on his Musicals recording.

Marla is a joke. Barely knows how to sew! Guadalupe was at least creative.

Get THEE to a nunnery, Marla!

Okay!

NOW...how do we feel about Santino?  Honest responses, please.

I, personally, DETEST him...what an EGO!

I don't think his dresses are all THAT, either, but what do I know from dresses?

What can I say? Mr Wilson is the illegitimate son of Miss Janis Paige!

There's no hope! ;)

While I prepared my dinner, I watched a thirty minute show off one of the ESPN channels recapping the Nancy Kerrigan/Tony Harding scandal in 1994. Know the details like the back of my hand, but the story is still mesmerizing to watch unfold. Better than any soap opera ever.

Matt, it was Betsy's station here in Portland that broke the story.  It was one of the reasons she ultimately got out of broadcasting--it was a 24 hour a day, 7 day a week thing here in Portland for months.  I was in the studio one day right after the bodyguard (the fat one, can't remember his name, Shane, maybe?) had gotten back to Portland, and Harding's coach had been stupid enough to use a cell phone to call Harding's attorney (this was back in the early days of cell phones) and a reporter had picked up the whole conversation with a scanner.  And he had it on tape!!  We sat around the studio and listened.  The finagling they were going through was incredible.  Of course you probably know Tonya has continued to get herself into one scrape after the other, despite her shiny new nose, LOL.

No worse than a joke I've told for years (which I have claimed creative credit for, Lord help us all):

What do you get when you cross one of Lassie's puppies with a cantaloupe?

Melon collie baby.

DR Jose, do you know Donna Migliano?

Der B and I have met her before, back when she was Domina in Arena's Forum.  We should (hopefully) be meeting her again tomorrow, as she plays a couple of roles in The Dinosaur Musical.

At the first rehearsal for this show, I said to each actor, "You'll notice that there are times that the dialogue in the show is written in an "arch" or "old-fashioned" way.  I did that on purpose, so please understand that when you're working on it."  FIRST THING OUT OF MY MOUTH.  Last night the guy says, "Well, it's just so not the way I would say it."  And I said to him, "You?  It's certainly the way the character would say it."

You know, that is always the problem I had with that Shakespeare dude.  How could some director expect me to say, "To be, or not to be?"  That is sooo not me.

DR TCB, I just don't understand how anyone could ask you to tell someone to get to a nunnery and keep a straight face.

Yes Marla should have been GONE...but as DRJENNIFER said, Guadelupe's dress was UGLY ++!!  As Michael Kors said, if Nikki had worn Marla's dress people would have been bored, but if she had worn Guadelupe's dress they would have said: "What was she thinking?"

DR RLP - Santino's ego is SO much bigger than his talent that it is frightening.  He always makes the same dress.  Does he know no waistline but an empire?

Santino vastly overrates his own skills, and now he has Nikki Hilton feeding that ego of his. It will be fun to watch him take a fall because Nick is the more imaginative designer. And what has happened that I am typing about dress designers on a reality show I do not know, but it IS entertaining.
