Yes, I have one, but I bought it for the nature sounds, rather than the white noise, which I find annoying. The nature sounds were disappointing. The rain is a deluge, not a nice pitter-patter. I do like the thunder, though. If I'm angry about something I sometimes put it on. Helps to let go of the anger. What works best for me is the portable fan, which I use most nights in warm weather. It drowns out quite a bit of noise without being a problem itself. NOTHING could drown out my noisy former neighbors!

As for ear plugs, I simply can't wear them. I've tried. I'm a side sleeper and they're quite uncomfortable.

Keith doesn't like the ear plugs either. White noise is a problem too. We have one friend that has purchased a fan both times he and his wife stayed here. They never did that in Ashland or in Michigan when they stayed with us, don't know why he needs it now. Maybe he just admits it now that he is older-lol

I have a very nice facebook friend who has been through a lot in the last few years since her husband was diagnosed with cancer. I am very happy for her that she is on a dream vacation in Australia & New Zealand. Today I mentioned to Keith that her photos are the worse I have ever seen on FB. Keith discovered I was being kind when he went to FB to look for himself

I don't find the white noise machine that i have to be annoying at all. It sort of sounds like a loud fan to me. The one I have drowns out noises from other rooms, from outside...

You could take a really good chocolate ice cream and top it with Heath Bits O' Brickle, which you can find in the chocolate chips area.
