How long is Patti Lupone doing GYPSY?

Unless it is extended or transferred, through July 29th.    :(

TOD:

I've never been much of one for party games. I'm more the have-a-good-natter type.

Friday the 13th is not an unlucky day and with the new moon in Cancer on Saturday, it is a good time to tend to personal family matters.  A home improvement plan is a good idea....as is turning off the phone and reading a book all by yourself.

YES YES YES lovely new avatars for DRs 3DDIFFUSION and ADRIANNA PATTI!!!

DR 3D - I think the actress you pictured was Miss Eleanor Audley who was the voice of the Wicked Witch in SLEEPING BEAUTY and played Oliver Douglas' mother in GREEN ACRES....to name only two.

George, I woke up to a very warm bed room....I decided it just wouldn't do and although it's cool outside, the open windows weren't doing squat, so I cranked the air conditioner and it's feeling much better. Maybe I can get some sleep

Maybe you were excited with it being your birthday and all  --

HAPPY BIRTHDAY and MANY MORE!

Good morning all you Dear Readers out there in the dark.

Do any of you know if a documentary is available called This is Noel Coward? It was done for ITV in Britain in 1972 or 1973. There is a coffee table book companion to the film. We found the book at a Library book sale on the Upper West Side. I just finished reading it and really enjoyed it. I would like to see the film if possible. Almost all my googgling turns up is refererence to the book. There are a couple of databases which mention the film but it doesn't seem to exist in DVD or VHS.

I don't know about that one. I did tape one from A & E that was taken from a Thames TV series like our American show BIOGRAPHY that was done years after his death. This one includes clips from interviews and a few shots from TOGETHER WITH MUSIC.

Good morning!

Didn't feel quite as hot this morning when I went out to get the newspaper, and the storm that was predicted passed over my neighborhood without dropping any rain.

Definitely have MY LIFE ON THE D-LIST as first priority this afternoon when I come back from lunch. There is nothing new on TV for tonight, so I'll be combing through DVDs to come up with some selections for tonight.

Ditto!  Been to too many of those girlie showers (which I hate and will turn you off to party games forever!)

...the right food, the right beverages and the right guest list usually leads to not needing no stinkin' games ...

Anyone seen the new HARRY POTTER film yet? I just made plans with my friend Hal to see it on Monday. Maybe the crowds will have died down just a bit by then.

Party games: not big on them. I've played some of the ones mentioned here, but I'm not a big fan of competition at parties. There are other games usually going on.
