Once we arrived at my parents' house, the Big Meal was all ready to be served. -We just had to wake up my Mom and Dad from their respective naps. My brother, Mike, and his wife were/are here too, along with their kids, John Michael, Alyssa and Emily, so there was a good crowd around the dining room table. Turkey, ham, sweet potatoes, peas and carrots, cranberry sauce, rice (plain), and
arroz gandules rounded out the spread. For dessert, my father picked up a Cheesecake Factory Pumpkin Cheesecake from CostCo - he's really become "infatuated" with CostCo lately - "Only $14.00!". -It was pretty tasty, and their store-line actually tastes a bit "lighter" and less-caloric than their in-store pies. -And after two slices, it better be.
