I'm back from a loverly dinner with DRs Jose, Ginny, and Richard. We went to Artie's and had my favorite waitress, who's such a Jewish mama, take care of us.

I'm now watching a bit of tv and coughing like mad: while I was working today a huge cockroach crawled across my desk. I got a can of Raid and sprayed all around the area, and now i've asphyxiated myself. Oy.

MR BK you can tell Mr Larson that we enjoy his commentaries on the episodes of SUPERMAN on DVD....and ask him who was his favorite Lois Lane....he probably won't commit himself.....

Since he has remained good friends with Noel Neill, I am sure he will.

We have a review of "Romeo & Juliet."  It's been published in both The Olympian and The News Tribune, but HERE is a link to the author's blog, which has a couple of pictures from the show. :D

I have to run a couple of errands for my sister before I go to the theater, so I have to leave now.  I think we're having another cast party tonight (there were two last week and another last night...I just couldn't go last night.  I was SO tired).

Anyway, I'm off! ;D

I'm up.  Once again, I decided not to get out of bed when the loud noises began at seven (of course, seven is always the loudest - once an hour goes by, then the loudness dissipates a bit).  So, I'm up, have read through various and sundried e-mails and shall maybe do the long and/or shorter jog.

This might be a dumb suggestion, but have you ever tried ear plugs?  I used some at the concert i went to on Canada Day and they really help.

That's what I posted about the other day but there was NO reaction at all; I guess everyone was "listening" to me with their ear plugs on! I mean:
EAR PLUGS!! :D

François, I assume that know one responded when you mentioned it, because it was only meant for BK.

I know; no harm done!
I guess I was just expecting some DR Reader to say; "Yep, that's a good idea!
Just like I do with Jennifer's post!

And the beat (Hammering!!) goe on ....

.....as well, there were a ton of season sets of assorted TV series like THE OC, FRIENDS, DALLAS, KNOTS LANDING, ANAMANICS, and more. Nothing that really interested me...but others might find otherwise.

Each season set was just $6.00

Jrand, you might be interested to know that Anna Karen Morrow, who played Mrs. Chernak, the Harrington family housekeeper, just passed away this week at age 94.

She was married to Jeff Morrow.

Rachel York was reportedly a smashing Dolly Levi in a Massachusetts production of HELLO DOLLY at Reagle Players.

Once I saw Rachel Levi in "Dolli York" but that's completely irrelevant, as Oscar Levant would have said! ;)

Ain't Rachel York a tad young to play Dolly Levi?!

I heard she lives in New Rachel......

How old is Dolly supposed to be?

Channing was 43 years old when she first did it.

York is 38

Sarah Palin's speech today is being played on Anderson Cooper's show. She sure takes deep breaths, but what the hell is she saying? She mixes metaphors, drops allegations, and it seems a lot of yatatatata.

Thornton Wilder describes Dolly Levi as a woman of "uncertain age."

To me, Dolly is a woman with some past; she's a widow and "give" advice on life!

She can't be too young and that was the main complaint about Streisand being too young too for the part!

Horace seems to be always played by a middle-aged man, so ....

There should be a significant difference in age between this couple and the daffy younger one ...

I think she was jealous that Michael Jackson was getting all the attention this week.
