DR elmore - Have you considered any sort of litigation against your former doctor? I'm sure one of those lawyers who advertise on the busses and subways would love to take your case.

I'd dance, but since I've been out and about for the past 14 hours, well...

One of America's current top Tupperware salespersons is apparently a guy in drag.          :)

Yes, S/He Is!

And S/He is currently on tour!

Oh and i loved True Blood season 2 episode 3. And great song at the end!

Yes! That was a particular apt choice to end that episode.  The music editors on that show must have quite the CD collection!

This is re: thurs US Y&R so don't read if you haven't watched (for DR Jose, unless he doesn't care)

No review package today, so I was on my own again.

I began my afternoon with skimming through today's THE YOUNG AND THE RESTLESS. Adam had some scenes, and, of course, Nikki had to talk about what she saw in other scenes (not with Adam, however). But no Rafe and no Phillip.

I"m not sure if you fast forwarded thru the end. But my tv's guide had this listing (which i don't normally read) which said "this week deacon sharpe comes to town".

Now this name means nothing to me. But yesterday that guy who is framing daniel (and who met with victoria) is deacon sharpe. ANd they showed the previews where he met amber and something was fishy. So i typed in the name and apparently he was a big character on The Bold & the Beautiful (are we supposed to know this?).

If you are a CBS Soap Opera Fan, you would know that since Amber's character actually started on "The Bold and the Beautiful", and she's made some "guest apperances" back "B&B" over the years. -Much like Sheila (who I keep expecting to come back someday) and Lauren.

*Do any of the other networks have any characters that crossover from show to show?

DR Jane - Not to sound too alarmist, but a friend of mine recently had a similar "bruise" on his foot.  He let it go for a while thinking it would heal, but finally went in to see a doctor when he could no longer fit his foot into his shoes.  It turned out that he had blod clot.  If Keith is feeling even just a tad of numbness or tingling, he really should get it checked out ASAP.

DR Jennifer - Thank you for the clarification regarding PC3. As Celine Dion sings: "It's all coming back to me now."

Great blurbs, Bruce.  Truth be told, if I like an author or am familiar with the title of a book, I never read the blurbs.  When I am unfamiliar with a title or author, I usually read just enough of a blurb or the notes on a dust jacket to see if I am at all interested.  Same with previews of movies, I guess.  I like being surprised.  (EXCEPT IN REAL LIFE!!!)

On a related note....

bk - Does Amazon allow you to list books before they're published, available. If so, would you be able to list your latest book now, and have the blurbs included in the listing?

Does any DR who works in theatre know where we can purchase a Golden Helmet of Mambrino?  The inner web is particularly unhelpful on this subject, although I may have located one....MAYBE....no response to an email yet.

DR JRand - I've worked on three production of Man of La Mancha, and each time, "The Golden Helmet of Mambrino" has been the "problem prop".  However...

The most creative solution: The prop master fashioned one out of a old bed pan.

Thank You, DR Kerry.  And...

bk - I know you're still basically self-publishing your books, but are you able to submit your previews and "blurbs" to publications like "Publisher's Weekly" or that listing of books from independent presses? -Sorry, I can't remember the exact name of that publication, but I always see copies of it when I go to smaller bookstores.  Maybe DRs Ginny and/or George would know.

I'm curious which two dancers on SO YOU THINK YOU CAN DANCE won't make it to the top 10 tour. I'm sure that they are going to consider this fact (the tour) when deciding who will go.

I'm sure melissa/ade and brandon/janette will be safe. And there is no way they are gonna ditch kayla or phillip's partner (my mind just blanked on her name). So i guess it depends if randi/even are in B3. I think i would get rid of her (i really like kaitlin).

As for the guys i would get rid of kayla's partner (kaono sp?).

Well... Even last year's tour ended up including more than the Top Ten finalists...

And once you get the book listed, then you can post the link via Twitter and Facebook.  -And I did just check Amazon, and there are a slew of "Soon To Be Released" titles.  Although, I'm guessing you'd probably have to establish some sort of official release date.  -Which, as always, is subject to change.

So...

I had a wonderful breakfast and catch-up session with my friend, Chris.  He and his partner are flying out to Seattle tomorrow for the Rosie Cruise, so after breakfast, I helped him run some of his pre-trip errands.  One of his errands included a trip to Barnes & Noble to pick up some travel guides for Germany.  He'll be heading to Frankfurt to co-star in a production of A Streetcar Named Desire in August.

Then...

I met up with my cousin, Kristine.

We had a wonderful time today.  Not only is she a Fellow Foodie, but she also likes to take lots of pictures, and she has an iPhone too.

We basically walked around midtown for about eight hours: Grand Central, lunch at Macy's, Times Square, late afternoon desserts at Landmarc, Central Park, the Fifth Avenue Apple Store, FAO Schwarz, Rockefeller Plaza, Magnolia Bakery... And then we met up with her "new friend" and the new friend's friend, and hung out at McGee's for some libations and conversation.

It really was a good day. :)
