Well, you've read the notes, the notes were covered, and now it is time for you to post until the covered cows come home.

As promised - a low rez image of the cover - again, I think we're going to lessen the drop shadow just a bit, but I like this more every time I look at it.

BK, both pictures are wonderful!  It did, however, take me a little bit to realize that on the cover photo you don't actually have two left legs.

Yes, we had a hard time figuring out what that was until I realized it was the camera operator in the other chair - maybe we'll remove the leg.

If the leg removal can be done easily, I'd recommend it.  But that's just me. :)

From yesterday:
DR George - I hope your sister's pipe are back in proper working order.

Thanks, Jose.  The plumber came this yesterday morning and was able to find the leaking pipe fairy quickly...he only had to cut two smallish holes in the walls and turn on the water again for a few moments to find it.  It turns out that there was a t-joint with two pipes and a hose connected to it, but the hose only had a simple clamp holding it onto the joint and that just slipped off...so no burst pipes.  The plumber said that it's not supposed to be done that way.  He also said that he did see another t-joint that was done correctly, but there's no telling how many were done correctly or not.  Fortunately, my sister's insurance will cover this repair, but quite a bit of no-longer-dry drywall will have to be replaced.

BK, you said that this new book will have many pictures in it and will be available for downloading to the Kindle.  I have heard (but don't know, because I don't own one) that the Kindle doesn't include any pictures that are in books.  Do you know if this is true?

I don't really know anything about Kindle.  And, of course, you can't get a signed copy on Kindle :)

Of course!  And I, of course, have no intention of getting a Kindle...unless I'm given one.

Wasted my time the last two nights watching Ghostrider and Watchmen. Thankfully I had coupons for the Blockbuster Vending machine and didn't pay anything for it.

Anyone watch either film? Opinion? Anyone watch the 4hr plus version of Watchmen?

Wonder if DR JMK has sold his house....wonder how Son GABE is doing?  I have heard nothing on the radio.

And I am still laughing at Spouse Betsy's joke.....nobody sees Bigfoot on the way home from a Bar Mitzvah!

I have really enjoyed the MR WONG collection I purchased....six of the Monogram series.  Grant Withers and Majorie Reynolds are fine foils - Reynolds is in three of the six, I think.  And Mr Boris Karloff is quite good - the scripts are good - I figured out only two of them....although I was ahead of Wong by the end on all of them.

Five feature Karloff and the last one gives us Keye Luke as sort of the Son of....although it isn't said that way - in fact it could be Luke as a younger Wong.....

And for Monogram - the productions are pretty fancy.

And according to the ever-changing forecast, we're due for another 6-11 inches of snow in the NYC area between later tonight and Friday. Fun! Fun! Fun?
