Because I'm usually with Richard at 1pm on Sundays, I'd never had the chance to see "What Would Brian Boitano Make?" on the Food Network.  I just watched the Hawaiian honeymoon he created for his niece.  Cute, but I'd rather see him skate.

I imagine that, by putting "I Say a Little Prayer" in one of the ads for the show, that basically confirms that the inclusion of that song was at least in part a commercially-oriented decision to capitalize on the song being so well-known since MY BEST FRIEND'S WEDDING.

I've always had a copy of the soundtrack, I listen to it frequently to bring me out of the dumps, but, I did download this version to see how it stacks up.
IIRC, the original APPLE soundtrack link on Vinnie's site is mine. . .(I know my sendspace account gets hit for THE APPLE on a daily basis).
Just remembered that I did not share THE APPLE with Vinnie, but with Jon Haut, who runs a 'cheesy' blogspot.

I have one download of the soundtrack from the INNER WEB - it's probably yours, DR td, I forget where I downloaded it, although it may have been from something posted here on HHW.

It was featured on one of Luther Vandross' albums in the early 80's- and that version was then later sampled by Kanye West and Jamie Foxx.  Luther Vandross' version had another "bump" after his death in 2005.  It's also appeared on "American Idol" a few times.
