I look forward to photos and posts about the HHW NORTHWEST gathering tomorrow evening.

I shall have my dinner and read an autobiography that I found in my mailbox today.

Well, I am all set to go to Olympia for the play...except I have totally forgotten to purchase a ticket! LOL!

I am glad I now remembered this.

Mikey, you aren't still planning on driving home after the show are you?

Oh....Do "you" have a fire escape he can sleep on?

Well, no matter how hard you try we've now had report of at least one stupid little error no one caught - in talking very briefly (one sentence) about Carol Merrill, I mention her show as The Price Is Right when in fact it should be Let's Make A Deal - at least I got the door reference right.  I know why I got the show title wrong, though - it's because one of the investors of Nudie Musical was the announcer on Price Is Right - and I know that's why that title automatically came to mind - and it's a hard one to catch once you've done it - the proofers probably just skimmed titles, as I did.

Maybe I'll include a little ephemera piece of paper with any copies that go out from now on :)  Although my guess is that few will catch it if they're not looking for it.  So far, out of the six or seven who've read it, this is the first.

Anyway, if that's the worst of it, I'm jiggy.  After all, I just finished two books, one autobiography and one biography that had so many errors that I finally lost count.

TCB, no. I decided to get a room at the Govorner.

George, I looked on the TAO webiste and clicked on "tickets" which takes you to another website that sells tickers, but makes no mention of BRAIN FROM PLANET X.

If you are having not having a full house, could this be the reason?

I finally called TAO and they directed me to Washingtoncenter.org where I did find a place to buy the tickets...however, George, should I buy them there? It wants me to pick a seat and I recall that you said we (HHWers) will have a "special" place to sit. So should I buy them from Washingtoncenter and just pick any seat or is there a better way?

Well, I'm assuming that David and I have tickets :)

Yes...you will have tickets.

Yes, you should buy your ticket from the tickets link from www.washingtoncenter.org website.  The seating is general admission, so you're not picking a specific seat.  They just have to keep track of the number of seats available.  When you come tomorrow, we will have a section of seats reserved for you all...BK, David, TCB, Ann (and maybe Jed) and you.  I will make sure of that. :)

Are they seriously remaking DAMN YANKEES?

Yup, with Jake Gyllenhaal as young Joe Hardy.

I want to read more about Te Kanawa's "big Gershwin tantrum."

You have to wait for the memoirs; she has the voice of an angel and the brain of a peanut.

Taking bets as to whether the Damn Yankees movie will ever be made.  They've been announcing casting for this film for six years now.

I am looking forward to tomorrow night.  It looks like you might luck out with our weather, BK.  Mid-sixties, but cloudy.  It does still get a little chilly after the sun goes down.

No BK here today, but, I watched the new documentary on the DOCTOR ZHIVAGO blu-ray this evening.  Meh.

I'm also typing up a list of assets for a family friend going through a divorce. . .

In between, I napped and then I uploaded these photos to the net:
http://www.facebook.com/album.php?aid=169325&id=765549269&l=2fd5ae342c

Tonight I shall either attempt ZHIVAGO or PRIVATE RYAN or just watch FLASHFOWARD live and call it a night. . .

I'm pleased to read my favorite shows have been renewed:
The Big Bang Theory
Castle
The Good Wife
Modern Family

Other shows I watch & enjoy are on the "looking good" list.  I only have Flash Forward on the "not looking so good" list, & nothing in the canceled section.

Check out the shows you like at http://tv.yahoo.com/news/article/tv.tvguide.com/tv.tvguide.com-your-favorite-show-danger

Why don't they remake "Guys and Dolls" instead?

Hello all!
So it looks like I shall be joining the NW folks for Brain tomorrow night solo. DR Jed is feeling a bit under the proverbial weather so he offered to stay with Toby so I could go. I will not make it by 5 for dinner unless they invent transporters tomorrow morning, as I have a meeting in Lakewood (30 min north of Olympia) until 5. I will be driving straight down after, though. Very much looking forward to it!
