Prayers and vibes for swift healing for DR Ginny. Sorry to read your description of what happened and hope you're already doing better.

Sorry I've been out of it for the last few days. Putting the finishing touches on what will likely be the last issue of the magazine that I've been editing for the last few months. The publisher just doesn't want to listen to what needs to be done and he doesn't care that he's offering too little money to do it.

That and welcome overtime has made for long days and short nights.

Looking forward to my copy of London "Promises." I must listen to the Kritzerland redux of the OBC daily at work lately. Can't get enough of Jill O'Hara.

My nephew called this morning and told me they had always planned to stop on the way home  and he has no idea what his mother is talking about.  She never drives this way, so she thinks no one else should either.  I did tell him she wrote me twice to say they aren't coming to visit and he thought that was terrible.

This is your sister you are dealing with?  Is she older or younger?  Is she on any medications?

She's the only one I have, older, now on meds for her mental issues.  She's either not speaking to me or thinks I'm her best friend in the world.  I usually have my guard up with her, but this is the first time she's said she's speaking for her kids.  Luckily I only felt bad for about a day before my nephews got back to me and told me to ignore her.   They often just let her think what she wants to think and do what they want to do, it's easier that way

Now I have more understanding of what you go through.  Hugs.

Thanks Jane.  It's just family.  I really need a break from them, especially my brother and sister.

One customer wrote to complain that his jewel cases were cracked on two of the three London Promises.

You should explain about the deliberate "distressing" of the jewel cases to give them a fashionable, unique patina; offer to send him a properly "distressed" case so all his cases match.

I spent this morning sorting stuff in the garage for my big move. Yes, I am moving. Late September I will move from my tiny little 1 bedroom cottage to a swank downtown 1950s era 2 bdrm. apartment in this building:

Of course the cars parked on the street will be more modern.

And there won't be a lawn to mow.  I hope DC Freddy adjusts as quickly as you do.

VIBES FOR A SMOOTH TRANSITION AND MOVE!!!

Did you see my post yesterday that I saw Allan?

Ya, Freddy is probably not going to like that he can't go outside!

I did indeed see the post about my brother. I am wondering if I will see him up here tonight for my sister and brother-in-laws 40th anniversary party. I am not sure who all is coming.

MBarnum!! Congrats on your move.  I think you'll like it.  You may be surprised how Freddy adjusts.  From my experience and from what I've read, most cats adjust to being indoor only fairly easily, it's the owners feeling sorry for them because they can't go outside that have a harder time adjusting.  Just make sure he has lots of toys and things to play with and something to sit on by the windows so he can look out.  He'll be ok

You should buy a HHW "You Can Kiss My ASS" TShirt.

I said something a little stronger to my brother about a month ago.  I just saw some photos from the gathering at the lake.  I had no idea my grandnephew Gabe was going to be there. (The one from Wisconsin) I guess it bothers me that no one even mentioned that to me.  That's what happens on my brother's side.  They either don't invite me to things like this - or the lie about what it is - like my dad's 80th birthday party - so I don't go and don't find out until it's over that I missed it.

I'm sort of glad I didn't know Gabe was going to be there because I may have gone to the lake.  I got so much done today that it's really better I stayed here.

I had a fabulous time at Jackson Browne and David Lindley.  The opening act was ...David Lindley and Jackson Browne.  It was so fun to see the main act playing back up for the opener...and the opener as part of the main act's band.   The concert lasted for 3 hours with only about a 15 minute break between the opening and the band.  It was really interesting.  Lots of fabulous guitar and other strings.  There was a variety of music and styles and it was really an enjoyable evening

DR Cillaliz, it is a nice, roomy apartment with a long hallway and big windows (and big windowsills). Freddy will have a nice view from the 4th floor.

DR JRand, the bank will be the proud new owner of my humble abode.

Great MBarnum.  My cats love to look outside.  I make sure there is a place for them to sit in front of all of them.

I'm tired, worked really hard today sorting the insides of a plethora of boxes. ???

Why do I have so much stuff.  ???

In such a small living space.  ???

For someone who no longer wants to dust.  ???
