Saw  YOU AGAIN, It reminder me of My Best Friends Wedding but on a wider scope. It also made me feel real old. I didn't know any of the younger actors except for one. I heard of her, but don't think I ever saw her in anything.

There were a couple of surprise cameos at the end of the film.

But I did enjoy it and there are some really funny performances especially Jamie Lee Curtis.

Had a lovely brunch with our little French boy. Almost too cold to cruise in the convertible but we did anyway!

Has anyone seen that IMDB has redesigned their website.

I don't like it. To me its more cumbersome and more difficult to find what you want to know

The other day I noticed it was different and didn't like it, but today it looks normal. Hmmm....maybe I was looking on a different browser.

Last night, I watched a motion picture on dvd entitled A COUNTESS FROM HONG KONG.  In spite of its credentials, I was sorely disappointed.  Charles Chaplin directing, Marlon Brando, Sophia Loren, Tippi Hedren, Sydney and Geraldine Chaplin and Margaret Rutherford starring all led up to a big pot of nothing memorable.  Well, the love theme was memorable, outside of the movie when sung by Miss Petula Clark.  On the other hand, Miss Loren looked lovely in almost every frame she was in. . .

It was also Charles Chaplin last film appearance.

It is supposed to take place partially in the US, but since Chaplin was blacklisted it was filmed in England. There is a scene with Loren on the beach and its so obvious that she is standing in front of a process screen.

I keep thinking I'll stop taking my local paper because there are so many days I read it online but not in paper, but there are a lot of things in the paper version that aren't online.  So, I keep taking it

Same here, something that will need correcting if they expect people to pay for the online paper.  I found reading the comments about this very entertaining.  The majority complained about the numerous spelling and editing errors & the lack of substance in general. ;D

I get a Sunday paper that I canceled years ago.  I don't know why they deliver it every sunday, but they don't bill me and I don't really think it's my obligation to call them and tell them to stop
They want money from the advertisers. We had to remove our paper box to stop all the junk they were delivering.

Does anyone have to pay to access their local paper online?

Beginning the 19th of this month we will have to pay to read our two local papers.  They aren't very good to begin with & I only look at them for the local news & obits.  Long ago we stopped the paper since they could never figure out hold dates, plus all the recycling.  Soon I will will be out of the loop regarding the local news.

At least we will have free access to emergency info.
Will your TV stations provide updates? The newspaper here, which I hate to admit I used to work for, is so now embarrassingly devoid of local copy that I find more information on the sites for the various TV stations.

We don't watch local news because the viewing is so terrible & the reason we have satellite tv.  Often we know more about what is going on in California than in Oregon ;)  Obviously we will have to find a new way to get our local news.

From DR Jrand (I think)
Now hear this.

If you have an account at IMDB, you can return to the previous interface!

1.  Log In

2.  Click on your account

3.  Under the center Box (Personalize) click on the first link Site Preferences

4.  Click the first box Reference View

5.  Scroll down and click OKAY

And the world is as it was!

I changed mine :)

td when you recommended THE HISTORIAN you neglected to mention how much the darn book weighs.  I'm happily more than half way through now so my left arm, vs right shoulder, does most the work of holding it.  I'm glad I'm reading it. :)

It, and THE PASSAGE, are quite hefty tomes.

Jamie Lee Curtis was the only reason I have considered going to this movie.  I think I'll wait for the $1.50 theater.

I am showing IT STARTED IN NAPLES to the dear mother.  I watched the first half hour and thought that this would be an ideal movie for mum to watch. . .
I am either on a Loren kick or a Shavelson kick.

Wow I just got an email telling me how I can find Spicy Whores for FREE!!!!

The Spicy Whores are free, or finding them is at no charge? And how do you cook them, exactly?

I always thought you reminded me of Jeffrey Dahlmer.
