TOD - In high school I was in a one-act titled "Overtones," in which 2 proper ladies are having tea while their inner thoughts are played out by their alter-egos behind them. It was great fun.
In college, a group of friends always went to the Student Lab Theatre on Thursday afternoons to see one-acts and scenes from longer plays performed by theatre majors. The one I remember most was "Muck," in which Christine Lahti had all kinds of - well, muck - thrown at her. Not sure what the point was, but I wonder if she writes about it in her newly-released book: True Stories from an Unreliable Witness.
