I also must tell you I am really over this surreal science-fiction world in which we're living, a world of no smiles, no human interaction, no hugs, no nothing. People forget that there are actual people in the world who are not in a relationship, who don't live with anyone, and they don't give a crap about those people literally not having someone in person to interact with, no, it's always one response now - wear the effing mask. I understand the severity as put forth by the media and "science" and such, but I am distrustful of all of it. No, I don't think it's a left-wing plot or a commie plot, I merely think what is factual - that the "science" that we're supposed to take as gospel changes every two days. The dictums from mayors and governors change every two days. One day we hear the demonstrations that are still ongoing (a large one in downtown LA today) have shown no spike in cases but every day there's a new outrageous number put forth because people aren't doing what they should - and yet, no spike from the demonstrations, the party line being they're outdoors. Last I looked, the beach is outdoors so why do people have conniption fits when they have those photos of beaches that are not nearly as crowded as say 25,000 people packed like sardines in a half-mile of Hollywood Blvd. Can't have it all ways from Sunday, I'm afraid. Thank goodness Grant comes by every now and then. Sorry for the rant, but after four damn months of this, or is it now five or six, I want information I can trust and I'm not getting it. And the most amusing thing is that people on Facebook actually take GLEE in touting new case numbers and death tolls - a real "I told you so" GLEE. It's nauseating. And we can file this under "unpopular opinions."
