Seeing JERSEY BOYS tonight.  A friend who disliked it called it JERSEY NOISE, but I'm expecting to really have a great time.

It's their first performance since the opening, but they've had a day off, so I'm hoping it's not a relatively low-energy performance.

In honor of page 3 and JERSEY BOYS, the famous parody lyrics:

Prance like a man,
Dance like a man, my so-o-o-on

I think I've been dupped by a seller on Amazon.com Marketplace. The order was placed nearly four weeks ago and it's still not here. I've tried emailing the seller twice and have heard nada. And now there are 2 instances of negative feedback in the seller's profile claiming that s/he is a fraud. I think I won't be getting my Hitchcock DVDs after all. :(

Jason, amazon has a customer service line, and they will help you - let them know immediately.  And if you paid via credit card, call the company and deny the charge - do it asap.

Tomei is a fine actress. Sometimes you luck into one of those parts that just fits your talents like a glove, and MY COUSIN VINNY certainly did that for her. But she's shown that she's more than a one trick pony since then. I have never seen her on the stage, but I've liked most of her screen performances that I've seen.

Thanks for noting that, DR Ron, which is more than I did! After I passed 10,000, I haven't really looked any more.

I just ordered a used copy of Mario's Sometimes I Dream CD.  I like both of Josh Groban's CD's.  DR ELMORE your recommendation sold this CD!

Yes DR JASON let AMAZON customer service know.  There is a link on your order page.  They have ALWAYS been very good about getting me my money back.  It has happened to me twice in seven years!

I'll be heading out shortly for my lunch date and to run my errands. Hopefully, I'll be able to watch MEDIUM when I return and maybe a DVD, too.

I picked ABOUT LAST NIGHT off the to-watch shelf over the weekend and then never got around to it. I may give it a spin if time permits this afternoon.

Congratulations  Cillaliz.  I'll be 17 years nicotine free come April.... I went from three packs  a day to  zero... but its amazing how growing a tumor in your thyroid can stimulate your will to quit.... particularly  when the Dr says it's probably cancerous (thank God he was wrong!)

I saw MEDIUM last night and it was another good episode.  Alison's husband gets called for jury duty and they are not supposed to talk about the case.

I am wondering what to do about the 3D episode since I don't have 3D glasses! :(

Re: LOST, there is a full page diagram in our local paper listing all the characters on the show and what their odds are of being killed. :)
(i'm serious).

Only problem is it seems a loon wrote the article (it's not based on any spoilers). And it has Jack (Matthew Fox) as even money to leave. How ridiculous is that.

One thing mentioned in the article that I found interesting is that they said "the writers know who the audience really likes and so they know who they can't get rid of".

I think that is true. There are a few: Shannon, Michael, Walt, that I definitely like less.  And there are a few (Kate, Sun, Jack) that I really like more and would be very sad if they left the show.

BK - I have the full score. We license the show!

According to Amazon.com, I have to wait until tomorrow to officially claim fraud and request a refund. They have an "A-Z Guarantee" for just this sort of situation which guarantees that I will be reimbursed provided I've followed all the rules, which I believe I have. Still, I'd rather have the DVDs than the refund. Oh, well. When I get the money back, I'll just walk over to Tower and buy the set in person. It's easier that way.

Jason how are you today?  I am imagining you at your desk with a burning candle in each ear and wearing a POTO mask!

(and I think you should take this opportunity to go give carrot girl a big wet sloppy kiss!!)

Vixmom: The swelling has gone down a little bit, but not much. You know that little finger-like appendage at the end of an elephant's trunk? That's what my upper lip looks like. Thankfully it doesn't hurt nearly as bad as it did yesterday and the scabs are starting to form, so I'm on my way to recovery. Thanks for asking!

And I agree - I think this is the PERFECT time to kiss carrot stick girl!

We have what's called the "vocal score" for FORUM.  Is that the same as the full score?

Vocal Score: Piano reduction of the entire show, including underscoring and scene changes/playoffs.

Full Score: Orchestral reduction of the entire score. Generally 1-4 books containing the full orchestration.

Which are you looking for, BK?

I love a nice sauce with a good piano reduction (a Julia Child reference).  :)
