Jose - Thanks for the advice.  My computer is a Mac.  Might clearing the cache help on a Mac as well, or only on a PC

Have you run the "Check for Update" for IE?

Otherwise... I prefer to run Safari on my Mac.  I do have IE for those times when I need to use it - there are some music sites that only work properly with IE.  However, that usually means IE and a PC, so...

I also like Camino - which is Mozilla's Mac-only browser.

I should be in midtown later this afternoon.  I could make a house call if you like.

*Oh, and the AOL browser - whether on a PC or Mac - causes multitudes of problems.  I hardly ever use the browser in AOL.  -And AOL's "frame" just takes up too much screen space.

MR BK - I envy you the Pacific Theatre....and the score....but I don't envy you Mitzi Gaynor.

Maybe since they were in town for the Courts Show....Mr Kerr and Ms Nuyen will be in attendance tonight!!

If only Doris Day had played Nellie....oh well....it least it wasn't Carol Lynley.

Have you ever been at work and just felt like not working.

Yep, quite often...

...And my seven year old nephew, John Michael, really did love the show.  It was his first, full-length theatrical musical.  When I asked him what his favorite part of the show was, "When the baseball players watched the baseball."  (There's that sequence where they're watching Joe hit the ball out of the park a couple of times in a row.)  Oh... And he also liked, "Lola".

-And he waved to everyone backstage as we were leaving the theatre.  Sooooo cute!

OH!  And then when we got together yesterday for my Dad's birthday breakfast, he ran up to me.... "What a flop!"  -A Damn Yankees reference, not a Lestat one.  ;D

And have you cleared your cache lately?  (seriously)  ;)

Is "clearing a cache" related to "expressing an anal sac"?

Does any remember the Saturday early afternoon version of HOLLYWOOD SQUARES called STORYBOOK SQUARES, in which the actors dressed up as Red Riding Hood, Little Bo Peep, etc?  That was must see Tv For me in those days.

I was there every week for STORYBOOK SQUARES.  I remember seeing Kaye Ballard playing Cleopatra and thinking, "What story book was Cleopatra in?"

And, of course, Charley Weaver played Charley Weaver.

JRand55, yes I thought you might enjoy CHITRALEHKA...now you should find a copy of MUGHAL-E-AZAM....talk about some beautiful colors! Whew! And a good love story (thought I HATED the ending). Much of the movie is black and white but then it switcheds to color on several occasions...and those occasions are stunning!

However, there is a colorized version out there as well (they colorized the black and white scenes).

That looks like the white bread-iest production of SP I've ever seen.

Jose, we are busy having dinner with other friends tonight, otherwise I would take you up on the offer. And Anthony would insist that this time you climb up 3 flights of stairs to see the Christmas Tree (yes, it's still up, thankfully it's an artificial tree).

No sawing of trees here in my neighborhood tonight...and yet there are many tree limbs on the ground due to the wild windstorms today! For awhile I thought the whole house was gonna get blown down.

When I went for a walk yesterday there were a few moments I thought I was going to get blown down.

Me, too, DR DAKOTA CELT - I am more a fan of the GWTW movie than the book, although the book certainly has a LOT more story!

LOL, a LOT more story is the problem with the book, IMHO.

Tomovoz I found MY LOOSING SEASON interesting.

It is a lovely spring day here, temp in the 60's no wind, no rain

I even went out for a walk at lunchtime.

AH! This is what January should be!!

(I'll probably wake tomorrow morning to find three feet of snow on my car)

DR Jason I would love to see some of your National Zoo pictures!

We went there when the Vixter had just turned three years old

As we wandered by the pigmy hippo pools, Vixdad told her there were little hippos submerged in the water (they apparently stay down for 20- 30 minutes at a time)

She shouted "Hello!" into the pool in her tiny three year old voice and just then a pigmy hippo popped up out of the pool and wiggled its tiny ears at her, to her great delight.

She spent the remainder of the visit  sreaming "Hello!" into every pool of water we passed in hopes of seeing a hidden animal pop out!

DR Danise

Every spring we go to  the I-CON.

http://www.iconsf.org/

We have met various and sundried celebrities, writers, scientists, astronauts,  cosmosnauts, cartoonists and musicians here over the years, including  Charles' dear and personal friend Harlan Ellison who used to be a regular attendee.  (and whom Vixdad & I hope will consider attending again in the near future as we have missed his talks these past few years)
