I suspect that they're very different books, but more I will not say. I have decided to stay put, publisher-wise - I also thought about Bear Manor, since neighbor Tony Slide has done several books with them, but there were too many downsides for me and not any upsides. It's all still Print On Demand (although at Bear Manor there is no set-up fee to pay), but I've been with Author House for so long now they gave me an incredible deal this time, which includes returnability for the book (which means bookstores can order it and return any unsold copies - bookstores will not order stuff they can't return) - there is normally a very expensive charge for this but I got it free, as well as sixty free books, which basically covers the set-up cost, plus a bunch of other little perks. Also, I want hardcover, which Bear Manor don't do. But they're very good and do a lot of show biz stuff, as do Author House. It's really six of one half dozen of another in today's publishing world.
So, I'm sure Druxy and I both made the right choice to suit our various and sundried needs. As to coming out at the same time - don't know. I normally have books in September.
