Of course, I have no detergent so I have to go to Gelson's to get some right this very minute.

I was walking on Hollywood Blvd and what did I see across from the Chinese Theater?

Not a whole lot to report. School was OK. I don't think my Shakespeare teacher even noticed that no one knew what he was talking about or was even paying attention. I at least had the decency to pretend to be taking notes.

House vibes for BK. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

The brown furry meowing lump on my lap says hello. (Actually, he says "meow," but I'm translating.)

The most unusual "footprint" at the Chinese Theater.

A little further down the way was Eyptian Theater. Isn't this where The First Nudie Musical was "repremiered" last year?

In behind the Kodak Theater is a shopping plaza. The pictures below look like a recreation of that  set from the silent film Intolerance,

JMK---
No I never lived there and have never been there.  I just subscribed to the papers from an ad I saw.  They were all comic strips, no news or anything else.

OK, there is definitely something weird going on, and I swear I am not making this up--

I have just received another email from another author (someone else from the Washington Post) who has a book coming out next year on Communism and Hollywood from 1930-1960.  Yes, he wants info from me, too.

What am I, 411 on FF?  :)

Get me an agent, stat!!

WEL--that is news in Menomonee Falls (little joke there, apologies to any cheese-heads).

The valley below. Palm Springs is on the left followed by Cathederal City, followed by (I think) Palm Air and the other cities

They are just starting to pack the DVDs.  They have already packed over 100 boxes of CDs and books.  Unbelievable.  I have no idea if they'll even finish today, but we're ever hopeful.

I went on a beautiful nature walk. Scenery and the trees were gorgeous. I wish we had this in Florida. This is what I also miss most about Canada.

The chalet at the very top. Had lunch there. Terrible food. I had tomato soup that was way too salty. The same could be said for the meat loaf. How can they go so wrong with such simple dishes???
