TOD, sort of:
Greg left a tool-box looking thing at Delta last week when he was wrapping a job in a big hanger. It was full of expensive gear. He spent days trying to track it down.
Since he had a few days off, there was a window of opportunity to hang two antique deco sconces. He had already done a lot of the wiring but never had time to complete the job. After they're installed, we will hang family pictures in that area (a little hall between the bedroom and the former bedroom turned gear room) and put a console there. This is where the big litterbox is, so we had a frame built to elevate the console so the kittys will have some "work room". I bought a rug which I hope will disguise the litter they track out. Then it should be a more functional tiny area instead of a black hole.
The sconces disappeared and I thought I had hidden them from myself. Greg went to storage and looked but didn't see them. Yesterday, I went back to storage with them and they were in the box with all the other antique lights; he just hadn't dug deep enough. He had forgotten he had wrapped htem up and taken them to storage. Within a few minutes he also got a call that his box of transmitters was safe and sound, locked in an office. So something must have freed up in the planetary alignment for us to find things we'd forgoten. I'm very happy to be proceeding with this project. The house is too small not to have things where they're supposed to be.
I envy JMK his big house!
